Creighton University presents an hour long lecture The Centrality of Contemplation for the Active Life by Abbot Thomas Keating. If my math is right Father Keating was 81 years old at the time he gave this lecture at Creighton. It's an amazing distillation of a lifetime of thought put forward clearly and simply.

The best hour I've spent in quite awhile.

I can't do justice to what this man says, only that it is truly beautiful, getting directly at the heart of finding redemption and the ultimate source of peace, not just as an individual but on a societal level.
